If you can’t invest in a sit-stand desk for every staff member, consider buying just one or two for your business and encourage hot-desking to allow different staff members to utilise it throughout the working week.
Smaller changes can also impact positively on your workforce, encourage standing whilst on the phone, this not only improves general fitness but improves tone of voice and projects a confident telephone manner. Other suggestions include supplying fruit for your team, organising a group lunchtime walk or suggesting that get up and walk to a colleague’s desk, rather than sending internal emails to one another.
